“It was one of the more fulfilling jobs I’ve had, and I loved that each day was totally different. Some days we worked in the farm with the bright students of REACH Academy, others we delivered our harvests to food pantries in Westchester, and once we even spent the day making jam with our hand-picked currants!”

Sara Crane

Sara began working with Our New Way Garden in its much earlier days. Along with some friends and her high school environmental advocacy group, she volunteered in the New King Street garden a handful of times and found it to be a de-stressing, fun, and social after school activity. Last summer, she served as the Marketing Intern for ONWG, managed its social media accounts, and got her hands dirty working in the garden and greenhouse.
